PATTERN DETAILS
The Felty Bunny Pattern comes with three bunny template sizes. Choose the smaller size to create the garland shown.
The medium size is great for a place card of sorts. Embroider a monogram or name onto the bunny tummy and tack a hanging loop to the upper edge so it does double-duty as an ornament or gift tag.
Choose the largest size to create individual freestanding bunnies for gifts, to tuck into Easter baskets or to combine into a table setting.
ALTERNATE BUNNY ADDITIONS
Change the thread color to match the Felty color for each bunny. Or use a contrasting thread color for each one for a whimsical take on the project.
White pompoms make great bunny tails. Hot glue or use craft glue to attach each one to the bunny bottom. Alternatively, omit the tail and hand embroider eyes and whiskers on the bunny head to create a face.
Instead of using twine to string the bunnies together, try thin ribbon. Or, punch holes in the bunny ears and string them from there. Add Felty letters, stuffed with a bit of fiberfill, to spell “HOPPY EASTER” and place a letter between each bunny. The possibilities are endless!
All you need are the free templates, included with the pattern, to create tons of bunnies for Easter and beyond. Be sure to save the templates for future use!
