In-The-Hoop Piggie Softie – And It’s Free!
The In-the-Hoop Piggie Softie is fun to make and they make great gifts! This little piggie softie by Lisa Archer of Pickle Pie Designs is fun, easy and FREE! Here is the video tutorial
And here is the link to the Free In-the-Hoop Piggie Design Download.
Built this by starting with Sulky Stiffy and Sulky Super Solvy (so the thread doesn’t sink into the plush fabric pile). Choose either Sulky Rayon or Poly Deco Thread for best results!
In-the-hoop projects are so great when creating multiple gifts. Each one comes out perfectly – even when working with plush fabrics that are often difficult to tame in the sewing machine.
Aren’t they adorable? I have several friends with new babies on the way and they will all love these guys! It’s perfect for girls or boys (and even special pets!). I mean, who doesn’t like pigs? Now go make some in-the-hoop piggies.
Happy Sewing!

What is the pink tape you are using and where can it be purchased?
Kelly Nagel
She is using Embroidery Perfection Tape, which you can get here: http://www.shopsewitall.com/product/embroidery-perfect-tape/notions-tools. But I prefer to use Sulky KK 2000 Temporary Spray Adhesive to hold things down in my hoop. You can get Sulky KK 2000 at http://www.sulky.com
