WHAT TO EXPECT

After registering, you’ll receive a handy, printable Supply Checklist to make sure you have everything gathered and prepared for sewing on New Year’s Eve.

You’ll also have immediate access to the Event Page, where you’ll find your first instructional video for the class! The freestanding lace takes quite a while to embroider, so we want you to make it ahead of time and have it waiting in the wings on NYE. This informative video will help you every step of the way to ensure your lace is beautifully stitched and ready to go!

On New Year’s Eve, you’ll receive a reminder email when we’re going live – 12 noon ET. Click on the link in the email to join us, or locate the event in your Library, after logging into the site.

Ellen March will begin by briefly reviewing the freestanding lace tutorial, explaining the “open” design options and showcasing the optional FSL zipper pull charms.

Jessica Barrera will take over and show how Dutton comes together, taking you through the construction steps up close and personal at the sewing machine.
