Halloween Potions Wreath

FREESTANDING HALLOWEEN PATCHES

The Halloween Potions Palette comes with 10 spools of Sulky 40 wt. Rayon Thread plus six patch designs with spooky phrases. Choose the smallest size if making several, so you can scatter them across the wreath and showcase as many as you wish without the design getting too overwhelming.

Load the chosen designs into the machine. Either embroider them one-by-one in a 4×4 hoop or combine several into a larger hoop.

Follow the color chart included with the embroidery designs to note when to place the appliqué patch fabric on the stabilizer in the hoop.

Next, rinse away the remaining stabilizer under warm running water.

HALLOWEEN WREATH HOW-TOS

Begin by making a plan for the wreath (and expect to veer off that plan!).

Choose a color palette (in this case, black) and grab the floral accessories of your choice along with the completed Halloween patches. Place them on a flat work surface and audition them on the wreath.

wreath patches

Begin by inserting some of the floral accessories into the vines and keep adding (or subtracting) elements until satisfied with the design.

Then, place the Halloween Potions patches throughout, tucking the edges over and under other elements in the wreath.

Hang up the Halloween wreath on your front door and admire your spooky creation!
