WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

  • LearnSashiko stitching techniquesusing six available patterns.Sashiko is a traditional Japanese hand-stitching technique that uses simple running stitches to create geometric patterns, often on indigo-dyed fabric. The stitching typically features white thread on dark fabric, emphasizing contrast and texture.We’ll demonstrate this technique using Version 1 of the available kits for this Session.
  • Learn how to adddecorative quilting by machineto embellish the faux leather version of Sabrina. Plus, learn tips for working with faux leather for smooth stitching every time.

Version 2 features classic Brown Legacy Faux Leather and Brown Pebble Faux Leather contrast fabric, with Gold Hardware. This kit doesnotinclude any printable stabilizer sheets, as machine quilting is recommended for these fabrics.

    How do I access my embroidery designs for the bag? I bought the bag kit. I am also registered for the class.

      Hi Laura! On September 9 you will have access to the entire course, including the bag pattern and six Sashiko embroidery templates. They will be found within the course in the first Lesson.
