Summer Sewing Session: Clear Carryall Cases
In this in-depth Sulky Session, you’ll learn how to create clear zipper bag sets using printed vinyl, fabrics and notions. These cases are perfect for travel essentials, fitting into carryon bags neatly and easily. They also make great project pouches and school organizers. SESSION DETAILS
Learn two construction methods to make two different pouch styles. One case set is made in the hoop of your embroidery machine (with 10 size variations) and one case set is made on the sewing machine (with 5 size variations) – no embroidery machine needed! Both the ITH design files and sewing pattern are included with Session purchase, an $20.98 value!
The ITH method features the Makeup Center Zip Zipper Bag by Parker on the Porch, while the sewing method features the Clear Carryalls Pattern by Ellen March. The ITH designs require an embroidery machine and at least a 5×7 hoop. (See Hoop Size Requirements below regarding all minimum hoop sizes needed for each design size.)
PROJECT DETAILS
The sewing pattern features a quilted exterior for a little extra padding, protecting the contents. The ITH project includes a D-Ring to attach to a key ring or tote interior. Both sets are fun and functional, with full construction techniques demonstrated in several instructional videos.
Once you make one, you’ll want to make an entire set! With our beautiful kit, you can choose up to four sizes and styles to create using Tula Pink vinyl, fabrics and notions. To match the Tula hardware perfectly, we’re including a spool of Sulky Holoshimmer Metallic Thread for optional topstitching accents and/or quilting. A Hot Pink Poly Deco spool is also included for construction.
