STITCHING TIPS

Blend one strand of 12 wt. Cotton Petites with one strand of Holoshimmer for all or certain elements of the design. Or use two strands of Holoshimmer for certain elements so they really sparkle.

Leave long thread tails at the start and end of each stitching element, and weave the tails through the stitching along the backside of the work to eliminate knots.

CROSS-STITCH CHRISTMAS

The moving marker is secured with two magnets on either side of the work that’s in the hoop. Cover this magnet with a cross-stitched snowflake to add to the cross-stitch Christmas calendar charm!
