Next Level Serger Success

In this Session (Next Level Serger Success), sewing star Katrina Walker will teach you intermediate serger techniques and take you through a table runner and BONUS coaster project that showcases those techniques. You don’t have to have taken Basics & Beyond to enjoy this Session, but it’s a good idea if you want more basic knowledge of how the serger works and what it can do.

This Session is suitable for sewists of all skill levels. Plus, the topics covered apply to any brand of machine.

About the Instructor

Katrina is a sewing designer, educator, and author known for her expertise with sergers, machine embroidery, construction techniques, textiles and Modern American Pojagi piecework. She enjoys teaching innovative and alternative construction methods to both garment sewing enthusiasts and quilters.

Katrina will teach you serger tension settings, serger maintenance, utility & decorative feet, how to serge corners & curves and how to “quilt as you go” with a serger.

This pattern contains all the instructions for creating a table runner that’s constructed and quilted in the same step – all on the serger. Choose to bind the table runner using a specialty serger attachment or with your sewing machine. It’s up to you!
