Wind a bobbin with 60 wt. Bobbin Thread. Install a size 75/11 Embroidery Needle and thread it with the first Rayon color in the design.

Hoop a piece of Sulky Tear Easy stabilizer with a piece of Sulky Felty in a Magnetic Hoop, if using. If not using a Magnetic Hoop, hoop only the stabilizer, and then adhere the Felty to the stabilizer using Sulky KK 2000 Temporary Spray Adhesive.

Place the hoop onto the machine. Begin the embroidery.

STITCHED CARD

Trim the Felty approximately 1/2″ to 3/4″ beyond the embroidery design edges, depending on the card size.

Center the embroidered Felty on the fabric right side (or place where desired). Use KK 2000 to secure the layers together.

Set the machine for a decorative stitch. Practice the stitch on a scrap fabric to see how the needle moves and make any adjustments to stitch width and length before stitching the final piece.

Stitch the Felty perimeter using the decorative stitch. The featured card showcases a blanket stitch.
