Sewing Pillowcases for Charity: Ryan’s Case for Smiles
The 2019 Sewing for Charity with Sulky continues with more pillowcases for people in need! This month, we’re sewing pillowcases for charity, working with Ryan’s Case for Smiles to make pillowcases for children who are hospitalized for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Happy National Quilting Day! I hope you’re inspired on this National Quilting Day to find a free quilt pattern you love and start a new project. Quilt Beginnings If you’re new to quilting, we have a ton of resources for you. The best advice I can give is to simply START. Look for inspiring designs that are simple to make, require minimal fabric investment, and get stitching. Start small with a lap-sized quilt (another free quilt pattern) using a craft batting. Or make one block and turn it into a pot holder or coaster. After piecing the top, layer it with batting and a backing fabric that’s large enough to…

Instant Pot Cover Blog Hop: Free Pattern + Soup Recipes for National Soup Month
Instant Pot Cover Blog Hop + Soup Recipes for National Soup Month If you’re addicted to your Instant Post like I am, you’ll love having a cover for it so it can stay on your counter at all times looking pretty. I spend more hours than I care to admit looking up recipes, trying new things, and chatting in the Instant Pot Facebook Community Group. I used to put my pot away after each use, in the cabinet with all my other kitchen gadgets and appliances (yes, I am a kitchen gadget junkie. I should probably go to kitchen gadget rehab), but I found myself using it so much that…
