Congratulations Eric Drexler! Your Quilt Will Be in the Arizona AQS Show
It’s the kind of letter every quilter dreams of receiving. The one that starts with, “Congratulations! The jury has accepted your quilt in the 2016 QuiltWeek® Contest in Phoenix, Arizona February 11-14, 2016 at the Phoenix Convention Center.” That is the news that Sulky National Educator and Free-Motion Guru Eric Drexler received recently and he was over-the-moon excited. “This was such great news, especially since this particular quilt has been such a joy to complete. I am thrilled that I can share it with other quilters this year at the show,” he said. Eric has been chosen to display the quilt, I BELIEVE IN DRAGONS, along with 161 others in this AQS…

A Tribute to Carol Ingram – We Love You
Carol Ingram – A Tribute All of us at Sulky have lost a dear friend this week, Carol Ingram, designer extraordinaire. With her most generous spirit, Carol has shared her incredible artistic creations and designs with us for almost 20 years. Many of you have seen and duplicated many of her beautifully designed projects created for the Sulky Certified Teacher Classes in either the Sit and Sew events, or now, online. Carol died suddenly and peacefully Tuesday morning. She was an incredibly gifted artist in all mediums, and those of us who sew, are forever grateful to her endless generosity with her projects. She was an inspiration to everyone she…

Great Gifts For Sewists for Any Occasion
Finding the perfect gifts for sewists isn’t the easiest task for an “outsider.” Finding a gift for ourselves? no problem! If you have any friends who need a good gift idea for YOU, send along this post. Gifts For Sewists An Amazing Seam Ripper – Like it or not, we all reverse sew, so why not have a beautiful seam ripper. I adore this one from Barney Pens. They are hand crafted and custom made, but at $35, they will not break the bank. My favorite is the one that hangs around your neck because it just looks like a great piece of jewelry! If you see my hubby, tell…
