In Honor of Veteran’s Day
My 9 and 10 year old girls have learned a lot about the history of our country this year. It has been fun to talk to them about the Revolutionary War and the birth of our country. My older daughter, Korey, is particularly fascinated by our country’s history and it has been fun to hear her perspective on it all. Remembering our country’s history has caused me to gain a greater appreciation for our Veterans. Sulky Supports Quilts of Valor
In honor of National Sewing Month, every week for the month of September I will be highlighting some of the amazing organizations that we support at Sulky of America. One of the coolest parts of this is that I had so many organizations to choose from! Sulky is such a generous company. I could have chosen from hundreds of organizations that do everything from teach kids to sew, to raising awareness of child abuse, to making clothes for children in Africa. A Few Quick Patriotic Tutorials – Yes, you can do them all by this weekend!
As I was pulling out all of my patriotic decor this weekend, I realized that I had a few things missing!
